ATF to host 3rd Annual Beeping Easter Egg Hunt

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives is hosting an Easter egg hunt for children who are visually impaired.

ATF’s 3rd Annual Beeping Easter Egg Hunt allows these children to participate in a holiday tradition that is usually not accessible to them.

Agents built the eggs to look and feel like typical, brightly colored Easter eggs, with the addition of a very loud beep that can be activated by a switch.

An ATF special agent started this annual tradition twelve years ago after learning his then 4-month-old daughter was blind.

The 3rd Annual Beeping Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday, March 31st from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at James Messer Park in Tallahassee.
