Arlington National Cemetery Needs Your Help!
Arlington National Cemetery (ANC) is at another crossroads in its history and needs your help.
ANC will run out of space as an active cemetery to honor our Nation's veterans in the next 25 years. As such, changes to either eligibility criteria and/or expansion of the cemetery's geographic footprint are required. The Secretary of the Army identified the current status of ANC, and options of future life, which broadly consist of:
- Restricting eligibility;
- Expanding the geographical footprint of the cemetery;
- Hybrid solution with combination of different options.
ANC is now are engaging in a National Dialogue with citizens around the country to help determine possible solutions to make the best decision for the future of this national shrine.
The National Dialogue launched July 21st and is open to anyone who desires to help shape the future of our nation’s most hallowed ground.
