Secret Service Gets New Website, App

The U.S. Secret Service has received a digital facelift, announcing last week a new website and mobile application.

The new website and app are intended to provide the Secret Service with a more innovative and direct way to deliver information to the public about the agency’s missions and activities.

“The new app and website will allow us to communicate more directly and transparently with the public,” said Secret Service Director Joseph Clancy. “This comes just in time for the upcoming visit by Pope Francis and the United National General Assembly, when we will be providing timely information to the public, especially for residents and visitors in New York City, Philadelphia and Washington D.C. As our agency continues to move forward in this information age, we are going to continue to find ways to serve the public and keep them up to date on our missions.”

The agency worked with NIC Federal LLC on the app, and the agency’s internal design team worked with SRA International to design and build the website, according to an agency press release
