31st Annual Candlelight Vigil Honored 371 Fallen Peace Officers at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial

The names of 371 law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty—including 158 who died in 2018—were formally dedicated last month, during the 31st Annual Candlelight Vigil, held on the National Mall and produced by the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.

LIGHT A VIRTUAL CANDLE

Every year, we host the annual Candlelight Vigil to honor the officers who were added to the walls of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial. Over 30,000 law enforcement officers, survivors, and supporters join us in Washington, DC on May 13. It’s often said that everyone should experience at least one Police Week during their lives, but even if you can’t make it to DC this year, you can still show your support.
