This Week on FEDtalk: Celebrating the National Park Service Centennial

Help the National Park Service celebrate its 100th birthday in 2016! Although it’s birthday is officially August 25, centennial events run all year long.

Tune in this week to celebrate the National Park Service Centennial with park experts who will highlight how the park service is kicking off a second century of recreation, conservation, and historic preservation.

Wendy O'Sullivan, the Associate Regional Director for Partnerships & Community Engagement at the National Park Service, Jenny Anzelmo-Sarles, spokesperson for the National Park Service, and Alanna Sobel, the Senior Communications Manager for the National Park Foundation, will join host Jason Briefel of Shaw Bransford & Roth in studio to discuss the first hundred years of the National Parks, the year-long centennial celebration, and what’s ahead for the parks’ next hundred years.

The radio show airs Friday, April 8, at 11:00 a.m. ET. On Friday, click the button below to listen live, or tune in to 1500 AM in the Washington, DC area. Once available, the audio from the show will be added below.
