This Week on FEDtalk: Design and the Federal Government

Tune in to FEDtalk this Friday to learn about the many roles of designers in the federal government. From designing marketing materials that educate and inspire, to helping agencies transform their visual identity, to conceptualizing and constructing entire Smithsonian exhibits, designers play many crucial roles within the federal sector.

Hosts Jason Briefel and Brionne Griffin will be joined in-studio by Nathaniel Axios of IBM Public Service who also serves as a DotGov Design committee leader, Richard Bentham of Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum, and Claire Blaustein who is also a federal designer and DotGov Design committee leader.

During the show, Bentham will also give listeners the inside scoop on planning and designing his latest exhibit, Artist Soldiers: Artistic Expression in the First World War, which opens at the Air and Space Museum on Thursday, April 6, 2017.
